Summer Movie Nominations!

I can't believe it's time to choose movies again. I think this time, we're going to nominate movies for June, July and August. So without further ado, here's the themes:

June - Summer Blockbusters! Let's watch an action/adventure movies together. As the weather gets warmer, I start thinking of all the fun, summer movies out there. Superhero movies, action, adventure, Sci Fi, mystery, thriller, big budgets, big stars, let's go big!

July - Guilty Pleasure picks. Do you have a movie that is a secret guilty pleasure? Nominate it, and share with the rest of us.

August - Westerns. There's something about summer that makes me want to spend some time on the range. There are so many choices out there, let's watch some together!

Nominate one or two films for each month in the comments of this post. Nominations will be collected through Monday, May 21st. Voting will begin on Tuesday May 22 and will continue until May 29th, with our selections posted by the end of the month.

I immediately thought of Independence Day for June... but there are many other good options. For July, how about Weird Science or Legally Blonde?

June - Raiders of the Lost Ark (Yeah, I'm sure we've all seen this, but there's going to be a new one coming out, and I'd like to revisit.)

July - Dirty Dancing ("Nobody puts Baby in the corner.")

August - I can't decide between High Noon and A Fistful of Dollars, so I'm nominating both.
